Crowsnest Vineyards Crowsnest Vineyards 1-250-499-5129
Location: Cawston, British Columbia, Canada
The Heinecke Family purchased the Winery in October 1998. All members of the family have worked hard to develop the facility with a new dining lounge, an impressive patio, and a redesigned Wine and Gift Shop. The new changes make the winery a unique place in the Similkameen Valley that is a must see for travelers. In the wine store, you will be greeted by Family members, who will guide you through a tasting and help you select of the wine that suites your palate. Winemaker Ann Heineke, along with Consultant Cherie Minco, work together to create traditional wines with a new world flair.

Orofino Vineyards Orofino Vineyards (250)499-0068
Location: Cawston, British Columbia, Canada
The conception of our winery began in the spring of 2003. After months of researching and debating alternatives the decision was made to build Canada's first strawbale winery. Building design incorportated function and eye-pleasing detail. The Orofino winery, Canada's only strawbale winery, was constructed in 2004/2005. The ecofriendly design consists of two buildings adjoined by a breezeway. We chose this building after much research and planning. "Earthy" 21 inch thick walls provide superior insulation - ideal for manufacturing constant barrel room temperatures and for keeping us cool in our desert heat. The buildings are beautiful and very unique. We are licensed so visitors can purchase wine and enjoy a picnic amongst our vines, almond, oak, and quince trees.

If there is a landmark in downtown Osoyoos, it has to be Home Hardware. It´s the only business still in operation since 1942. The reason is customer satisfaction, a huge selection of products, and a caring, fun loving and knowledgeable staff. Larry and Fr
